FINE JEWELRY DESIGNER

I founded Kristin Kennedy Fine Jewelry Design in 1997 with the ambition to create one-of-kind designs which merge my inspiration from the natural world with precious metals and gemstones. My creativity is always growing and evolving and I am constantly in search of new gemstones for my latest designs, which are on display at my Gallery located at 30A Warren Street in Concord, New Hampshire.

My inspiration as a jeweler comes from my experience with nature – hiking the mountains and canyons and swimming and exploring the ocean. My passion to create new and unique designs is ever present in my work.

THE BEGINNINGS

I began making jewelry in my hometown of Tulsa, Oklahoma, where I sold my pieces in local galleries. I am a graduate from Northern Arizona University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts with an emphasis in Metals. I am also a graduate of the Gemological Institute of America where I further refined my technical skills in making fine jewelry.

My profession as a jeweler began in 1993, where I apprenticed at the Gold Door Gallery in Sedona, Arizona. At the Gold Door, I was offered the opportunity to develop and grow as an artist and appreciate the skills necessary to succeed in running a business.

THE PRESENT

In 2000, I moved to New Hampshire to further develop my jewelry business. For several years, I immersed myself in the art market throughout New England and New York. I particularly enjoyed the comradery with fellow artists during this time period and the unique art scenes at the various venues including Lincoln Center in New York City. I also became a juried member with the League of New Hampshire Craftsmen, and participated in the League’s Annual Fair at Mount Sunapee, New Hampshire.

In 2013, I opened my Gallery in downtown Concord, New Hampshire, which serves as my workshop and as my showcase gallery for my jewelry pieces. My Gallery is a very elegant atmosphere and inviting to all who want to view my work or design a custom piece. I have many collections on display with many new designs on the horizon.
